In accordance with the new EEC Law, introduced May 25, 2018 - GDPR General Data Protection Regulation - Skånes Auktionsverk has adapted our policy for how we handle our customers' personal data.

By applying for a customer number for bidding or by signing a consignment contract, the customer agrees that we may use his/her personal data for handling records, administration, billing, payouts or other business-compatible data. The customer information includes name, contact details and social security number. We do not store credit card details. The data is stored until further notice.

A customer may at any time know what personal data is stored with us by logging in to our website or by contacting Skånes Auktionsverk. A customer may ask to have his/her personal information deleted by contacting us in writing. However, we are required to save all invoices and accounts for seven years after the date of sale in order to fulfill our obligations vis-à-vis the Swedish Tax Agency.

All customer information is treated confidentially and is never disclosed to third parties. We also do not send newsletters to those who have not asked for them.
